The voice of one of our monitoring center operator’s voice will come over the two way speaker unit attached to the home phone and ask the subscriber if there is an emergency. If the subscriber says that they need help, or even if they are unable to speak, the operator will call the EMS, Police or Fire Department (Depending on what they hear), and then call pre-designated friends and family member to notify them of he circumstances. This all happens in a matter of minutes, and saves thousands of lives each year.
